BUSINESS HOURS
(7am-7pm Monday-Friday)
Between the hours of 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday the security alarm system is set to 'day mode' to allow easy access during business hours. Your security tag will give you access at the front doors. Visitors will need to use the intercom to gain access.
AFTER HOURS
Outside of the above hours the security alarm is activated throughout all common areas of the building. Your security tag that opens the front door MUST be swiped at the strike in the middle of the building (located on the ground floor and level 1 near the middle stairs) this allows 4 minutes of common area access. This should allow you enough time to get into your suite, etc.
After the 4 minutes is up the alarm will make an intermittent beeping sound to let you know that it's about to arm again. You do NOT need to swipe again at this point unless you require an additional 4 minutes of time to enter your suite OR exit the building.
DEACTIVATING THE ALARM
If you do accidentally set off the alarm please swipe your security tag at one of the strike readers to disable the alarm, this lets the security monitoring company know it is a false alarm.
If you are not able to disable the alarm please urgently contact security on 13 88 11. When speaking to the control room please give them the following information:

Your suite no. & company name:
The reason for call: (i.e False Alarm)
If you do not cancel the alarm once it has sounded by either swiping your tag or contacting the security company a patrol car will be despatched to the site. The fee of $75 will be charged to your suite for the cost of the unnecessary site visit.
